you are planning a visit
to Alaska, the Alaska
Visitors Center is here
to assist you. We are an
independent company, not
a government bureau. Our
combined knowledge base
includes over 200 years
of Alaska experience and
our goal is to make your
trip to Alaska the
experience of a lifetime.
As you look through our
site, you'll see
descriptions of
activities and their
retail price. Pricing is
based upon payment with
cash or travelers check
for the cost of the
activity plus any
applicable sales tax.
Many of our activities
are available at
discounted prices which
are passed directly on to
you. We offer almost
every type of tour or
activity: bear viewing,
fishing, glacier tours,
flightseeing, kayaking,
rafting...you name it. We
cover all areas of
Alaska: Denali,
Anchorage, Fairbanks,
Seward, Juneau, Homer,
Interior, Southcentral,
Southeast, the Arctic and
beyond. We help thousands
of visitors every year
with tours, travel tips
and other information and
we offer more that just a
great price, we also
provide great service. We
will do our best to
assist you in any way we
can. If you are

that you do not see
listed, please ask. We

available for custom and
unique tour packages.

Lodging |
| Reservations
are recommended for all
activities, tours,
transportation and
accommodations. Some
activities require
advance reservations.
Reservations can be made
in person, via mail,
phone, fax or online. The
Alaska Visitors Center
winter business hours are
Monday through Friday 9am
to 5pm, Alaska Standard
Time. Summer business
hours are 7 days a week,
9am to 5pm, Alaska
Standard Time (Four hours
from USA East Coast,
Three Hours from Midwest,
One hour from West
Coast). All purchases and
reservations will have
some type of ticket,
itinerary, form, voucher,
reservation number or
receipt which you will
need. This can be mailed,
emailed, faxed or can be
picked up at our customer
service counter upon your
arrival. |

Shopping |
| Items
ticketed by the Alaska
Visitors Center require
payment in full. We
accept cash, all major
credit cards, money
orders and wire
transfers. We are
authorized merchants for
Visa, American Express,
Mastercard and Discover .
Items reserved but not
ticketed require a credit
card to process the
reservation. In order to
protect our credit card
customers, ticket
requests via email and
telephone may require a
signed credit card
authorization form.

| Cancellation
policies are varied and
determined by the Tour
Provider. A cancellation
fee of 10% will be
charged on activities
reserved by the Alaska
Visitors Center which are
cancelled by the client.
Client cancellations may
also be subject to
additional charges levied
by the Tour Provider.
Full refunds will be
available on activities
which are cancelled by
the Tour Provider due to
weather conditions or
mechanical difficulties.
Some Tour Providers have
very strict cancellation
policies and do not allow
changes in itineraries
once purchased. We
recommend travel
insurance
as a
method to protect
yourself from unexpected
events which may change
your schedule. |
