Looking for a truly
Alaskan activity? Explore dog sledding, the official
sport of Alaska. The Alaska Visitors Center can
provide you a dog sled experience year round. In
Winter, we have dog sled tour programs available in
Girdwood and Willow Alaska. During summer months, we
have a variety of tour programs, with departures from
Girdwood, Willow and Seward, Alaska, including some
that use helicopter service to transport you into
remote alpine glacier fields and allow you the
opportunity to drive an Iditarod racing team, on
snow, during the summer. If you ever wanted to drive
your own sled or just go along for a ride, we have
the tour package for you.
