What ATV Tours
  Come enjoy some of the most unbelievable scenery and wildlife in the world. It is all a short trip from Anchorage, yet a vast distance from civilization. We can accommodate a wide range of riders; from the person who knows what he is doing to someone who has never been on an ATV before. If necessary, you will receive instruction on how to operate the ATV. Our trips vary from easy to extreme, with all of them on trails deep into Alaska's wilderness.
 
  1. EKLUTNA LAKE TRAIL- HALF DAY TOUR - We will drive up Eklutna Mountain to Eklutna Lake where we will meet the trailhead. There we will ride along the lake on groomed trails to valleys where we will see water falls and hike trails and have lunch. If it is really hot you can take a dip in the glacier-fed lake, so be sure to bring swimming attire. We will also have a chance to see mountain goats, Dall sheep and sometimes moose.
  2. JIM CREEK - 9 HR TOUR - We will be departing a gravel pit along the Knik River up to Jim Creek, crossing Jim Creek and riding along sand dunes and the Knik River to the Knik Glacier where we will have lunch and hike if desired. We will head back when we are ready.
  3. MONUMENT MOUNTAIN - 12 HR. TOUR - We will meet at Carrs parking lot in Palmer. There we will have approximately a 1.5 hour drive along scenic highways, taking pictures of the Matanuska Glacier and scenic mountains along the way to the trailhead. Once at the trailhead we will begin a 6 to eight hour round trip to the top of Monument Mountain. There we will look over the tops of many other mountains. After playing on the mountain and in streams, we will start our return journey. Be prepared to see bear, wolf, moose, caribou and fox.
  4. HATCHERS PASS - ALL DAY TOUR - We will meet at Carrs parking lot in Wasilla where we will have approximately a one hour drive to the trailhead. There we will decide which side of the mountain to conquer. We will be going through swamps, rivers, steep mountains and mud. So, be prepared to get very messy. We will have lunch on the top of a mountain or a river bottom. You must know how to control and ride an ATV. We will return when all are sore and tired.
  5. BELANGER PASS - ALL DAY TOUR - Hour an half drive thru scenic mountains of Alaska to trail head where we will pass highway and glaciers ( great photo opportunity! ) Once we are at the trail head we will continue up thru passes and down thru the streams to a working gold mine where you have the option to pan for gold or dig for fossils. Moose and bear are some of the great wildlife we encounter along the way.
