- CRUISE
SHIP EXCURSIONS - The Southeast
Exposure Sea Kayaking Company provides
several touring options exclusively to cruise
ship passengers. Ask your Cruise Ship Shore
Excursion Staff about the following options:
Tatoosh Islands Sea Kayaking, Eagle Islands
Sea Kayaking, Eagle Islands for the
Experienced Paddler, Clover Pass by Bike, or
the Rainforest Ropes and Zip Challenge.
- THE
GUIDES CHOICE - 4 hr. tour. Paddle
amongst islands in passageways that only a
sea kayaker can truly enjoy. This is a trip
for paddlers who are fit. Your guide will
choose the route according to the weather
forecast for the day. Expect to paddle 7-10
miles and explore local beaches and
tidelands. You have the choice of single or
double kayak, but must have the skills to
paddle in a single. Two person minimum
- MISTY
FJORDS 6 DAY TRIP - Travel the
protected waters of the Misty Fjords National
Monument, which give both the novice and the
experienced kayaker outstanding opportunities
for kayaking exploration and wildlife viewing
alongside towering cliffs and cascading
waterfalls.Enjoy six days of low impact
camping in remote locations, daily sea
kayaking, as well as optional hiking to
pristine lakes. Our guests kayak up to twelve
miles a day according to the family or
group's own skill level. Meals are made fresh
by your guide. Custom meals are available for
your dietary needs. Tour available June 3-8,
17-22, July 1-6, 22-27 and August 5-10.
- KAYAK
INSTRUCTION - Learn basic strokes.
Gain confidence to safely paddle and begin to
explore the waters of Southeast Alaska.
Instruction is given in both single and
double kayaks. Instruction is given in safety
techniques such as deep water rescue and self
rescue skills. 2 person minimum.
- KAYAK
RENTAL - Sea kayaks are available to
rent for a minimum of 2 days. You must be an
experienced paddler and be fit enough to do
your share in carrying your kayak above the
highwater mark. A $200 damage deposit is
required for all rentals. Kayaks are equipped
with rudders, spray skirts, Type III PFD's,
pump, rescue float and paddle. Single and
Double kayaks available.
